Kestrel v. Learjet
Mike and Kara worked on behalf of Kestrel.
United States District Court, District of Kansas
Manufacturing defects in the metal bonding of a jet resulted in a dangerous buildup of static electricity on the plane’s surface. With no method of escape, the static electricity jumped to the electrical components in the plane nose, causing mechanical problems and blackouts in the cockpit. Kestrel received a jury verdict in their favor, allowing them to return the defective airplane.
