Kara Lyon
Kara is a lawyer and a visual-communications designer with over two decades of experience creating graphics that explain court cases to judges, juries, and arbitrators. Kara has worked for numerous national trial-graphics companies, including Litigation Sciences, The Acorn Group, AccessibleEvidence, FTI Consulting, and Chicago Winter Company. She currently works with Impact Trial Consulting. In her 20+ years in the industry, Kara has helped hundreds of litigators tell their stories visually. Her intelligence, talent, and dedication to every case make her a sought-after resource by some of the highest-profile attorneys across the country. Kara holds a J.D. degree from The University of Michigan Law School and a B.S. degree in Graphic Design (cum laude with distinction in Visual Communication Design) from The Ohio State University.
Michael Grossklaus
Mike has spent the past 25 years working in the field of litigation graphics design. His strong sense of case strategy, problem-solving skills, understanding of scientific processes, tireless work ethic, and ability to sketch on-the-spot to convey concepts to clients, make him a valuable asset on all trial graphics teams. Mike began his career at The Acorn Group working on cases involving the Exxon Valdez, Dow breast implants, Ford air bags, Tyco products, and the drugs Propulsid and Zoloft. In his years in the industry, Mike has worked for a number of trial graphics companies and currently works with Impact Trial Consulting. Mike holds a B.F.A. degree in Advertising Design and Illustration from Wayne State University.
